Slab handling magnet repair

This large 2 metre long 800mm wide slab handling magnet is from the largest steel manufacture in UK. This rectangular magnet was successfully fully rewound and our Birmingham works using high temperature winding material as well as new outer poles and centre poles. The magnet had seen a lot of work when it arrived but has now been returned back to original mechanical spec as well as having new coils and new insulation fitted.
